I know, I know, I’ve been slacking on this project but don’t worry, I’ll pick up the pace pretty soon. Here is another ZBrush screen grab showing the diffuse texture of the third critter. It turned out more saturated than I thought but that’s an easy fix. From these textures I’ll make the sub surface scattering and specular textures. As you can see I started painting some textures, I just wanted to take a break from modeling and sculpting. This is a screen cap from ZBrush’s viewport to see how the textures fit on the model. I also fixed some seams.

Finally got back to this project. I made some small tweaks in ZBrush 3.5 and then I created displacement and normal maps, exported everything to Maya and here is the result. I still need to make the fish teeth, the fisherman and fishing rod, then I can begin the texturing and lighting process. Still loads of work ahead but in general I am pleased with the displacement and normal maps results.
